Testimony

I was born in a Christian family in the second largest city of Pakistan –Lahore and moved to Rawalpindi after leaving Air Force and got married to Nina on 30th Dec.’82.God Blessed us with two daughters Maria on 22nd Nov. 1984 and Neha on 1st Jan.’87.Both daughter were born caesarian  and my wife having severe Reaction from nearly all the medicines including painkillers and antibiotics , the doctors advised only one further operation and we both decided not to go for a third child although peer pressure was tremendous , as I our part of the world a son is considered a must to carry on the name of the father and for inheritance but we resisted pressure for seven years as we felt no surety that the third one will be a baby boy . It was after seven years when we heard our daughters talking “we don’t have a brother”. That was the time when we both decided to go for the third child and we prayed to the Lord for a son.
Now this was Jan.’94 and since 1992 I went away from the Lord and I was in worldly society, like a nominal Christian but having faith that Lord can hear our prayer we started praying. Then on  Feb.18 , 1994 Gospel Singer Rev Ernest Mall ( a Pakistani anointed worshipper , now settled in USA ) came to Rawalpindi and me and my wife, we both went to his meeting at U.P. Church Raja Bazaar Rawalpindi and during the worship( his meetings are normally three hours ) the Spirit of Lord  starting touching me and tears started rolling from my eyes and for nearly one hour I kept crying and repenting before the Lord and then I started praying very fervently before the Lord and asked Lord “Give me a son  please this is a small thing for you but its very big thing for us” and that was the time I heard Lord’s voice “ I will do this for you but will follow Me and serve Me” , that was the time I said “Yes Lord I will follow You and serve You”.  Rev. Mall was still worshipping and preaching and then he gave alter call. I stood up and went forward, said the sinner’s prayer and gave my life to Jesus.
Since then, I have seen the mighty hand of the Lord. My also gave her life to the Lord and before we were blessed with a son, many servants of the Lord prophesied that the Lord has heard your prayer and you will be blessed with a son.
On 15th Oct.’94 a prayer team of Lamp Fellowship Int’l (a prayer & evangelistic movement) led by brother Jafford Daniel and brother David visited for prayer and Lord clearly spoke through brother Jafford “Tomorrow you will see my power; I will bless you with a son”
The next day on 16th Oct.’94 Lord blessed us with a beautiful son Suleman. Since then the Lord has blessed us abundantly and has given us victory over victory. Baptized us both with His Holy Spirit and is using us for his Glory. Lord spoke though many Local and International servants “I have you for my Glory and I will use you mightly for extention of my Kingdom, I will use you to organize big events and for uplift of my church in Pakistan.”
Many ministries approach me for organizing big events and to coordinate Lord’s work through outreaches, seminars, TV programs, teaching CD’s, translating and distributing books in local Urdu language.
